Ingrid & Lou Had A Dream
Where Great Beer Meets the Rockies — Since 2015
Saying Ingrid and Lou Bush have a passion for craft beer is quite the understatement.
Lou, from Watertown, New York, and Ingrid, from Houston, Texas, met in Washington, D.C., but didn’t discover their shared love of craft beer until 2007, when they moved to Houston and began spending time at The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. It was love at first sip, and from that moment on, Ingrid and Lou became lifelong craft beer devotees.
Their passion grew into a dream — a dream that brought them to Estes Park, Colorado, where in 2015 they opened The Barrel, a Bavarian-Style Beer Garden and Hall. Over the past 10 years, The Barrel has become a community hub where locals and visitors alike gather to share great beer, spirits, and wine against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
The Barrel
Celebrating 10 Years in Estes Park!
The Barrel is a Bavarian-Style Beer Garden and Hall that has been proudly serving the community and visitors of Estes Park, Colorado since 2015. For the past decade, we’ve been a gathering place for craft beer lovers, spirit sippers, wine enthusiasts, families, and friends. With the Rocky Mountains as our backdrop, we’ve built a space where guests can reconnect, make new memories, and experience some of the best that Colorado has to offer.
Our outdoor container bar, featuring sixty-four rotating taps, is open May through October. When the seasons change, our cozy indoor bar with twenty rotating taps welcomes you from October through May.
While we don’t have a kitchen, we’ve got you covered with a variety of food options. From May through October, we host daily rotating food trucks, and in the Winter you’ll find them on weekends.
